sorry about the above post. i

sorry about the above post. i was on my phone so there are a few mistakes.
so yeah i get a weird knocking sound when travelling slowly in first and in reverse whilst going over bumps. it doesnt sound like its in the engine bay so i think it may be something to do with the transmission or dif. so i think im going to take it to get serviced. wher dou you guys think might be a good place. a mechanic or should i go to somewhere like ultratune... ive heard some debatable stories about ultratune so im not really sure.

Find a mechanic

I have a local mechanic who has serviced my family's cars for years. The only drawback is that he is not a 4wd specialist. I wouldn't go to ultratune, it's better to find someone who you can trust and go back to again and again in my experience.
You might be able to find a 4wd specialist mechanic around - I know of a few near me. They will be more aware of the high wear components from off road driving and will probably know about the local tracks and the sort of things that can go wrong - ie: local mud tracks might need wheel bearings replaced more often, sand might mean something different...

Size is not important; it's how you use it that matters!
