Nope, Didn't. Try copy and pasting the link.
Not my video.
It's from the 4x4 group's page, of which I'm not an admin so I can't do anything about it yet unfortunately. I'm still waiting on them to upload stuff to youtube, if that ever happens.
In the meantime I found this funny. I found it on Youtube, don't know the people.
"I do things the IO way!"
Last part of that afternoon
Last part of that afternoon ...3 io having fun at Corin Forest Canberra....Enjoy.
I think that I may have a mechanical problem, in some circumstance, I feel that I loose the front wheel drive. I am not sure if it is related to the VCU? No idea...yet.
On this video you can see what happen from 2min50. The car climb, loose grip, wheel spin, I stop, then I feel that only the rear wheel are turning (like rear wheel drive only) As long as the car doesn't move, I feel that it stay in RWD. As soon as the car move you can see that the front wheel are back on....I understand that you cannot see the LHF wheel, but I am pretty sure that it doesn't rotate either. This happen only in difficult climbing passage, when there is some wheel spin.
If I go slowly, without much acceleration (and not wheel spin), she climb without a pb. I thought that may be once the front loose grip, that the VCU send all the power at the rear, but does go back at the front only when the wheel/car moves again...It rarely happen, the first time I thought that it was just me, but it has happened a couple of time and I start to see the same patern coming back....and I haven't got a clue....
No drama, but if someone have some idea...I will be very happy to hear it....
Not an all bad week end after all
After noticing my stuff up, I got contacted by FocusIO for a drive in the Brindabella...after some good rain...
This is a sample of our day. We meet other 4x4, but we were 3, 2 io and the white land rover. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did, it surely helped me finishing the week end properly :)
Pajero io and friend playing in the mud
Another fun day, just mud ...or mad....This was taken 2 or 3 month ago. Great day out with an impressive friend who came to try to tag along....I have another short video with Focus io in need for a quick tow...tomorrow. Enjoy...
Happy io
youtube video ...."stolen"
One of my video have been copied and put back on youtube under his name. After checking, I found that he has done the same with other video, like Pininokio.
I don't really care that much, still it is a bit annoying !
I have just reported him, so the link might not work later on.

water crossing
The rear of the car was nearly empty and it may have been floating, not sure....at some stage the front was under water. I seriously started to loose traction, and the passenger was...a bit concern by having water on the windscreen. You can see me moving the front wheel left and right to find something to grip. No ignition problem ...
At the beginning of the video, the left front wheel got a bit deeper than predicted (soft mud) I got stuck because a rock was against the bar that hold the gearbox and too far in to be able to reverse.
Happy io
rocks
I've had to load up with rocks in the back before to get the arse to bite down when crossing due to floating issues. Normally a boot full of camping equipment does the trick though.cannot wait to get my snorkel fitted - been flat out preparing for my vehcile restoration project at home and my iO is just a daily drive - 1969 HT Holden.
Nice one!
Cool video - your iO sounds like a rally car!
Size is not important; it's how you use it that matters!
