Modified casing for AUTO transfer case
I have an AUTO transfer case with a modified casing ready to take the 2.85 mark adaptors gears. This casing have been modified properly and does include other modified part needed to accept the 2.85. You will need to get the new 2.85 gear from markadaptors, and swap them.
Asking $500....open to offer as I cannot use it and it will go to the recycling shortly as I am very annoyed to have modified the wrong casing and don't want to see it anymore.

Assumption is mother of all screwups
I wrongly assumed that the auto and manual did have the same transfer case. Some people knew that they had different gear spline and I worked on that, but they probably didn't know either that the casing cannot be swapped. Anyway, if I would have taken 20 second and stick my lazy bum under the car I would have seen that it cannot be done.
I was so eager to work on that project that I just got into it and didn't do the basic...checking !!
As you all know, I have been wrong before, this one just hurted a bit more, but I will get there...
So yes Glen, thanks, I would be happy to start again with a Manual transfer case.

What was wrong with the casing? I got your email, ill have to have a look at the manual latter to see what you mean. I didnt know the casing could not interchange tho!? bummer!
The IO at my local wrecker may still be there. Ill ahve a look at let you know. Id have to go pull it out for you tho..
