Need to instal daytime running lights
Hey, i recently imported a 2002 pajero io from japan and i need to install drl to pass the inspection. Any one have expierence doing this? I dont want to buy a module and it can be temporary just to pass the inspection. Im considering tapping the low beam head lights into a key on power like the radio or lighter. I feel like that may blow the fuse how ever. Thanks!

I ended up running it to the cigarette lighter works fine, although I haven’t turned up the lighter with the lights on. I do figure that’ll blow the fuse. I tried going to the fuse panel under the hood but I couldn’t get it up high enough to tap into a wire underneath. I also tried the fuse panel under the dash but it has a module underneath it. I could have done a continuity test to find out what plug I needed to tap in but it started to seem like more head ache than it was worth.
