It's kind of pointless placing a want ad

and not letting people know where you are...

There's a wrecker maybe 10 mins drive from where I am, and I know he had a complete, 1.8 5 door with automatic transmission - I'm fairly certain that uses a 4.875:1 gear set, and should bolt in - what I don't know is where you are, whether it even makes sense letting you know where to find him.

Ray's One Stop - in Sheriff Street.

diff

As above, but I will also add that based on your choice of name "ground hog....day" that repair is not going to help as your rear diff will blow again tomorrow :)

Ah crap - is yours a 1.6L?

if so your diff is unique to the 1.6 -

if you get the chance - maybe replace the entire rear axle with one from a 1.8L - same ratio but bigger axles etc.

Scar auto in Ipswtch QLD had a 1.6L wrecking - rear diff would be suitable
