Hi,

So I got my io today, bought it knowing it had the 'flashing super select' disease and got it for a good price due to this.
The blokes mate has decided to remove the 2 under bonnet solenoid sand has disconnected all the hoses in the process, I am unsure if he has also flipped or swapped the blue and yellow sides etc.
I think I have downloaded the manual but not sure as I did it as I was leaving for work so thought if ask if there are any photos lying around someone could point me to to show the proper setup (for a 2l 2002)

Seems there are a few different looking setups, mine has the 2 solenoid a with a tube also on the mount, i know where the vacuum is on the manifold and can see the 3 vacuum pipes coming from below an assume they will correspond when the solenoids are correctly bolted in.

Seems I have a 4 way director and a 1 way valve that needs to be replumbed to the solenoids. I think there is some sort of plug there also on one of the lines.

Once it's back together I will then properly diagnose the real issue, it may well be these solenoid a but they didn't need to be removed this far as far as I can see as they unclip.

Any help please. I will check it is in 2wd when I get home, I'm not driving it as I have to lift, tint, service and put some big shoes on her over the weekend.

Thanks in advance.

its not the size, its the way u use it

I've also just got home and

I've also just got home and the fuel filter is the wrong one by the look of it, I was under the impression there was only one style. No biggie can always take it back and get a different one.

And FYI I can't turn the front drive shaft when the cars in neutral and park brake on so assuming it's in 4wd.

its not the size, its the way u use it

Not necessarily...

With the vacuum setup disconnected the front axle freewheel will default to engaged and if both wheels are on the ground you will be unable to rotate the drive shaft - BUT - it could still be in 2WD IF the transfer case is in 2WD.

To be certain you'd have to jack at least one front wheel off the ground and rotate it.
