Air Intake Pipe Replacement

Hi Everyone,

I've got a 1999 IO engine 4G93 with a busted air intake pipe. Does anyone know of the closest replacement part is for that? I've rung mitsubishi and its not available in australia and none of the wreckers I have tried have anything.

Any help would be great.

Hmm..

Any of the wreckers have any lancers? with the 4G93 engine? If not have you tried Ebay?

01 ZR LWB, 2 sets of kumho KL71s on rims, custom one off belly plate, lukey sports exhaust and a right foot to suit!

air intake pipe

Hello, I did get this contact in February, he is a wrecker in Sydney and his name is Angelo 0418417172. At the time he had a complete car. One member got the transfer case from him. He might not have the car anymore, but it is only a phone call to check....good luck. What is wrong with yours ?

I think that he is talking about the plastic tube that connect the air filter to the air manifold, if it is, I think that the lancer is not the same....As always, I have been wrong before, ask my wife :)

Doesn't look like the lancer one at all. None of the wreckers I've spoken to here have even heard of IO's - neither has my mechanic which I think is half the problem. Not sure if its him or whether it was previous owner but the nipple on the pipe that connects to the top/back end of the motor has been snapped and they've plugged a bit of plastic tube (looks like a bit of irrigation pipe) and clamped the little flexible hose on it.

Angelo didn't have the pipe but Thanks for the contact though, he did have a few other bits I might need - wait for next posts hahah

There is a wreckers in Minden, QLD that has about 4 io's. It's called Minden 4X4. And there is 1 io at the wreckers at Wacol, Brissy. It's called Self Serv Wreckers.
