The ZR has disc rear brakes

The ZR has disc rear brakes and abs. Apart from an extra airbag and different cosmetic work, I think the rear brakes are the only difference!

Btw, this is the pajero junior section...

Size is not important; it's how you use it that matters!

rear brakes

I have the 02 io, ZR and the 99 io, both have similar drum, with the min size of 230.6 mm stamp on both car. I haven't removed the wheel to check. As a general advice, I wouldn't buy brake parts online, too many variation...lot easier to go to the shop with the old one to match or exchange if the wrong one are supplied.

If you are desperate, I can remove both wheel, but even then, they sometime have very small variation that can be hard to see, unless you put them on the top of each other.

Happy io

.

There are quite a number of disc brake rotors being sold in the UK on ebay. That is probably where.

Drums only except on euro autobahn models

Only the 02+ models in euro had rear disks as an option.
I've been trying to pick up a rear end without any luck.

CH VRX lancer rear disks are very very close, would be the best place to start in australia

Interesting

I know it is a bit of an old post but we have only 63 Juniors in the UK and some of those are at the breakers.  The guy who transported mine said he'd never moved one of those before and it was the first he had seen.   He was Polish too;  I thought they were common in the Eastern Block.  As for brakes, it is hard enough to get any parts for them here so I will have to buy online or pay Main Stealer prices.

Do it right, use Hammerite.

Be interesting to see what the dealer says ...

Based on what I know of Mitsubishi's corporate culture, the "main dealer" is only given access to whatever documentation and spares that are required to support the vehicles he is allowed to sell - so whilst you can expect them to have access to Pinin documentation & spares, because those were officially imported, I believe the Jr was never built for export, and so he cannot get what you need from Mitsubishi Japan.

You could get lucky, if you go with a part number, and that part number was also used on a model that was officially imported, I've gotten suspension parts that way - but you could also find that they as you for the frame number, without which they usually cannot help you, and if/when the frame number does not pull up the parts catalog, you may get "sorry, we can't work with this".

For a number of years, I did IT support for the local Mitsubishi dealer, so I became quite familiar with Mitsubishi CAPS (Computerized Automatic Parts Search) system.

Just been in touch with my regular Mitsubishi Pinin parts man and he has parts available for Junior and the capability to get parts in general.

outlander 2,0

you're talking about the twin-pot airtreck turbo brakes yeah,

you need to cut the disk down to 276mm diameter to fit though?
