Hi all,

I know thois has been discussed before but here we g again.

I have a 2000 1.8l 4 door manual 4g93 iO.  It is missing when dossing a high amout of fuel or when under load.  Plugs were replaced 15,000km ago.

I have a multi meter but am not sure what the standard resistance should be for the leads or coils.  Does anyone know?

Is there a way to identfy is one of them are faulty?

Cheers

plugs

show us some photos of your plugs - the standard plugs are only good for 15,000 at most - i run the irridiums for this reason.

as far as plugs and leads - you can pull the coils off the plugs and spark-test them against the rocker cover with a screwdriver etc to emulate the spark - blue/white is good - yellow is not.
