Good day to you all !

I have a bit of a problem with the drivers seat. When I sit inside the car and if I push against the steering wheel with my hands while sitting down the right rear corner of my seat starts to sag down / rock up and down (talking about the vertical axis)...I hope that my explanation makes sense.

Did anyone have a similar problem and knows a fix to that ?

Thanks in advance !

What troubleshooting have you done?

The seat is held in place by two bolts at the rear and two nuts in front - it may also have electrical connectors underneath for the seat belt monitoring circuit - you need to examine the seat to see where the problem lies - on my car the right rear mount was broken, and was fixed by welding.

Troubleshooting

The part of the seat that is bolted to the car floor does not move. Only the seat itself sinks to the rear right corner.

seat

As Fordem said you probably have a fracture frame or loose fixation at the articulation between the base and the back. To be sure the seat  will have to come out to properly inspect...it shouldn't be a big work to inspect properly.

Time to take the seat out of the car.

You'll need to remove the seat from the vehicle and turn it over - it's not difficult.
