I have to give the engine overhaul because this oil smearing the spark plug in the second cylinder and is consuming 3.5 liters of oil 5000km

If you were loosing power under load, like going up hill, the first thing that come to my mind are the coil, lead or spark plug, could be something else.....
Testing the coil that way does mean that it does work at idle, once the engine is under load they may fail.
Cleaning the spark plug is not something I would advised anymore, new one cost little.....
How many km does it have ?
