Error Codes
here you go
This is where the codes are pointing you - the page in the manual has step by step flowchart test/diagnosis instructions.
12 - AFS - Air Flow Sensor system - page 13A-16 in the manual - the air flow sensor is is the "black box" in the intake system just behind the air filter housing, the sensor is a hot wire type, so before replacing it, you might want to try cleaning it
56 - FUEL PRS, FAIL - Abnormal fuel pressure system - page 13A-29 in the manual
94 - ETV COMM - Communication line system with thottle valve controller - page 13A-37 in the manual
The answer is probably no
Since you haven't told us where you are or the year of manufacture of your iO - there's no way to answer the question with any degree of accuracy.
Having said that - OBD-II is a US federal specification, and the iO was never sold in the US, so the answer is probably no - however - the iO (or Pinin) were sold in Europe, and after I think 2001, would have had to be EOBD compliant, and since EOBD is backward compatible with OBD-II, there is a possibility that an OBD-II reader can be used, depending on the year your car was made, and which market it was made for.
My Pinin is made in Italy as
My Pinin is made in Italy as all Pinins were so it has an OBD2 interface, but it is different in all European cars. We use KKL (K line) wire designed for VW , Audi, Seat and Skoda and the EvoScan software. I have 2002 year, in older DTC can be "blinked" by using PIN 1 and 4 (the same as in OBD1).
Evo Scan is very useful software. It can clear DTC, and many more functions.
Which engine is it?
OK - we can assume it's a Pajero iO, but, the iO could be had with at least five different engines - 1.6, 2 x 1.8 & 2 x 2.0 - and I've heard rumors that a diesel was also available.
Which of these do you have
