Hi There,

my name is Sjoerd i'm from The Netherlands.
My current 4x4 is a Suzuki Samurai, But i'm know looking into buying a 5 Door pinin as it's called in The Netherlands.

my current website can be found here https://www.suzuki-4wd.nl/

i have been reading in the "Lift section" and found out that the maximum "Easy" lift should be around 3" or 4"

i found this website http://en.m0nster.ru/shop/pajero-io  that looks like a good set.
how ever i don't get all the versions of pinin yet. different years needs different components.
this website goes the furthest with lift hight compare to the usual brands: Trailmaster, Old Man Emu, Rancho, etc.

i'm not here to safe a few bucks on this part. i would like to go for the best quality lift while reaming onroad conditions.
the tyres on my zuki now are the BFG Mud-Terrain 33x10,5x15  i think that's never going to be a easy fit.

short:
What's the best lift to get 3"or 4", what tyre size would then fit ?

After that, aby aftermarket gearsets for R&P or t-case ?

Thanx !

In respect to the lift kit,

In respect to the lift kit, I'll be getting the 70mm lift kit some time next year from M0nster and I'll be getting the koni catridges as well with the coilovers. These are what they reccomend for off as well as on road conditions.

There was a post by one of the admins of that website explaining their product ( http://www.pajeroio.com/forum/lift-kits-coilovers-strong-front-arm-pajero-minijriopinin ) so you can see the results. The website itself also has some pics/links from customers who lifted their pinins.

Thanks for the reply  that

Thanks for the reply  that 70mm doesn't look like 70mm on that picture.
What size tyre would fit there ?

I don't quite understand why you have to still use strutt spacers since you will be replacing the entire strutt to get lift.

maybe this can be boosted to 4" 100mm of lift in some sane way.

Hmm from what I think

Based on the links the site provided to some customer builds, some have fit up to 32" ( https://www.drive2.ru/r/mitsubishi/pajero_io/1346281/ ) Though, with slight modification to the bumper

So from what I'm seeing here, I think this is more of a body lift than anything. The coilovers aren't included in the lift kit, they're bought seperately as they're mostly for ride quality purposes it seems, though the coilovers are adjustable so it can provide some ride height increase.

The additional ground clearance can come from the larger tires as I see an insane difference with the larger tyres. The 70mm lift kit seems more to accomodate the addition of larger tires (someone can correct me if I'm wrong). I think I remember seeing some 100mm lift talk in the main lift thread ( http://www.pajeroio.com/forum/lift-options-tires-sizes-look-here-first ) but the kits directly from m0nster, can't help too much. Their customer rides page had a 100 and 130mm lift but I didn't see much info on how they did it ( http://en.m0nster.ru/blog/primery-ustanovok-nashih-izdelij )

Be sure to document everything here cause I would like to see more people in 2021 working on the IO!

I thikn a 3 or 4" lift would be

I thikn a 3 or 4" lift would be including suspension + tyres for your overall lift. Just suspension 2" is about the max you can get with general bolt ons.

The M0nster kits are probably the best way to get a serious lift at this point, unless you are into doing your own fabrication. The different control arms, diff spacers etc are what make the difference from a 2" to 4" lift I'm pretty sure.

I'm not sure on max tyre size with the M0nster kit, but without it the limiting factor is the front spring pan, which will stop you at about 225/75R16 or, with a slight change of offset, 245/70/R16. Simply taking the wheel further out (huge negative offset) can be done, but you will end up so far past the guards it will be comical.

The russian forum has a bit more info on what people are doing with the M0nster kits, they are more common there being local. See https://pinin-ru.translate.goog/plugins/forum/forum_viewtopic.php?160061&_x_tr_sl=auto&_x_tr_tl=en&_x_tr_hl=en-GB&_x_tr_pto=ajax,elem&_x_tr_sch=http
