Oil pressure switch location 4G93 MPI

Hi,

The dash oil light on my partner's iO does not light up with the other warning lights when the ignition is turned to its first notch.

I would like to replace the oil pressure switch.

Can anyone tell me its location (or send a photo) on a 4G93 MPI engine?

It is 2 cm away from the top section of the oil filter. Might also be worth checking the bulb on the dashboard.

Hi Claude,

Thanks for this information. I thought that I would ask first before looking near the oil filter (and removing the bashplate..... again...)

I will put in a new switch first and see if that gets it to work...the dash light globe is step 2 (if needed).

I just needed to cut off the existing connector of the iO harness and crimp a female spade connector on to connect to the new switch.

All good....
