Hi Fordem,
Thanks for the reply
My model will be Japan Market model under H77W LRXC 4G94 2.0 GDI version year 2000
My OBDII reader couldn't read the code due to no connection to ECU
symptom before having this issue were my pajero suddenly die off when idling after came back from a short drives.
no check engine lights or arbag lights were turn on at that point of times.
Check engine & GDI eco light bulb has been replaced and still not working as well.
what i can think off is somewhere else the connection in between ECU to other componenet has been cut-off
not sure where should i start
Hi FordemThere's no lights
Hi Fordem
There's lights flashes for are the Neutral traminssiion lights and the ABS lights"after much finding knowing flashing pattern could lead to different troubleshot code ..
for now those aren't important, firstly have to get my Pajero statrted up then only can send to workshop for repairing
else last resort is to call up Tow truck ..
Have you tried reading codes???
What year & market is the vehicle? On some models you can put the vehicle into a diagnostic mode by grounding pin #1 of the J1962 connector, this causes the dash light to flash and you count the flashes.
Check engine light flashes ECU codes
Neutral light flashes TCU codes
ABS light flashes ABS codes
Airbag light flashes air bag codes.
Yes, I noticed you said the check engine light does not come on, that could be as simple as a blown bulb, or a bigger issue like no power to the ECU, or a wiring problem, those are things you'll need to verify.
A flashing neutral light indicates that the TCU (Transmission Control Unit) is detecting a problem, which in this case could be because it is not communicating with the ECU (Engine Control Unit).
