Hello, I have a 2002 1.8 mpi Pinin, is it possible to add low ratio and diff lock to the transfer box, without changing the whole gear box.

Thanks Themis for replying,

Thanks Themis for replying, I'll try and source a Transfer Box. One more question, will it need the electrical conections as on the GDI models to work, or is it only for indication on the dash to show what drive your in?

Thanks again

and also indication of system failures...

It also alerts you to system failures such as ...

center diff lock engaged when it should not be

center diff lock not engaged when it should be

front axle free wheel engaged when it should not be

front axle free wheel not engaged when it should be

The front axle free wheel failures are quite common and can mean the difference between getting stuck when you should't (because you only have 2WD when you thought you had 4WD) or the reverse, having the axle engaged and burning more fuel than you need to.
