sensor wire

Hi -

that is one of the weirdest things i've seen!!

It looks like a throttle-position-sensor, off an MPI engine - I can see you have an MPI engine, but no idea what it is doing bolted to the intake manifold! Mine is attached to the firewall side of the throttle body and the shaft rotates with the throttle. (07702)

i can look at the colours later today BUT mine is reversed due to a strut brace

tr4 sensor wire

OK -

I still don't know what it is BUT it's a brazil/tr4 only option - i've not seen anything like that at all.

given your wire colours - i'd say the black is at one end, potentially makred with a "1"
- if you check the pins with a multimeter you will find that one pin will be linked to the other two and show a resistance - the other pins will not be connected to each other. this will be the black wire pin.

see below

Awesome!!!

brilliant!!

We don't have that circuit in Australian io's as our fuel is fairly similar, no need for major octane adjustments in idle etc and it's roughtly tuned with the knock sensor.

I would expect that of the wires, the black is the common and the other two are base and power.

You may need to trawl through the user manual on here for the cicruit diagram - i've never seen anything like that on a vehicle here.

good luck!
