Morning All , Just joined the forum , does look like a lot of info in here which is great , two things causing me a bit of confusion

1st Going to fit a towbar , have sourced one from local supplier , it is massive !! looks as if for a full size Pajero , waiting for the supplier to get back to me , on the instruction manual for installing it states its for a 2000 Pinin H65W/H66W  my vehicle although registered in Jan 2000 is actually a July 1999 model and is a H76W , what is the difference ?

2nd Having issues with very low idle , have cleaned the throttle body to be fair it was pretty clean , do i require some form of diagnostics to set up idle a bit ?

In a nutshell ...

H6xW indicates a short wheel base or three door vehicle, H7xW indicates a long wheel base or five door vehicle.

Hx6W indicates a 1.8 liter engine, Hx7W indicates a 2.0 liter engine, and I think Hx5W would be a 1.6 liter engine.

So your H76W would be a five door with the 1.8 liter engine - now is yours GDI (Gasoline Direct Injection) or MPI (Multi Point Injection) and what do you consider a "very low idle"?  The specified idle speed for the 1.8 GDI is I think 650 rpm, lower then most other vehicles, and as far as I know it's not adjustable, I've been meaning to talk to one of the guys at the local dealership to see it can be done using the MUT (Mitsubishi Universal Tool), but I haven't found the time.

Hi Thanks for info , its a GDi , idle is barely 500 rpm it was fine around the 700 mark when i bought it and yes agree no obvious way to adlust idle as its "fly by wire " so to speak some one had mentioned it can be set up with a diagnostic tool , will investigate further with local garages
