I am thinking about ordering a vitara snorkel and see if it can be made to fit the pajerio?

Maybe

Personally, I think a D22 Navara snorkel would be a better fit, but I haven't tried it yet. The 'flat' part of the snorkel extends longer to the front of the wheel arch, closer to where the air box is inside the engine bay.

Size is not important; it's how you use it that matters!

Depends

Depends how you want to do it. The vitara snorkel is short though you need to come a fair way down the guard to reach the stock air box..unless you wanna move things arround and make them fit a different way

What was the down side to

What was the down side to getting the Brazilian snorkel again? Price?

They sure look sexy, wander if they will flow enough for the Turbo conversion I have planned.

Downsides

I think Claude tried to get one of the brazillian ones, but there was a problem with importing it or something... They ended up sending him a free sample I think but I'm not sure where they're at when it comes to selling them here...

The other factor is price: The Tigerz11 Navara D22 snorkel is less than $100 - it isn't on their website last time I checked, but I sent them an email and they said they have stock. They were around $65 on special at one stage, but I think they are now about $85. I think with a hair dryer you could adjust the angle slightly, but the overall size and shape looks pretty spot on from online pics I've compared...
