Suspension upgrades

Hi all, new to this forum and looking for help/advise. I own a 2000 MY 3 door Pinin 1.8 GDI which I am looking to modify. My original thoughts were 35mm front and rear spring lift from Euro4X4 and some 215/65/16 MT tyres. As I am sure you are all aware the MT's will not fit due to the close proximity of the front spring cups to the front tyres. I understand that KYB do some front struts that has 25mm higher spring cups than standard. I pressume these will also lift the front 25mm.

To tow or roof racks

Hi all,

We are planning a over land trip in April 2013 to the richtersveld ( semi dessert mountain area) with the wife and kids. Going in convoy with the in laws. The question I have is wether it is better to tow and off road trailer ( Echo 3) weighing in at 400kgs or to pile the camping gear onto a roof rack.

Is the IO 2.0 a decent tow vehicle ? which would be better for fuel consumption? 2x 25lt jerry cans with petrol ar obligatory due to limited range of the IO.

Any Ideas advice will be highly appreciated
