Kph to Mph

Hiya, I'm Buying a 1999 Pajero io 1.8L A/T, 3 door that was imported from Japan, and I want to change the gauges to display Mph instead of Kph. I know there are MPH clusters available, but do I need anything else like a sensor to make it read correctly? Also, I'm looking to eliminate the left fender mirror, the stock flat hood, doe anyone know where I can source a blank fender and a turbo hood? I'm in America for context.
