Hi My name is Lee.

I bought a 2003 IO 2.0 in December and have not got around to introducing myself.

Its a white one with no extra's (for now) and so far I am very happy with the car.

I have been dying to get it dirty but just been so busy, we are planning to go to waterval boven for some climbing over the weekend and probably on Saturday heading out to the river wild to see what she can do.

I got the car with 235/60/16 (Champiro tyres) never heard of them but more of a road tyre.

So found a set of slighlty used 205/80/16 Conti world contact4x4's that fit nicley and sold the champiro's for what i paid. I'd like to get some muds at some stage but for the cost of only balancing/fitment i have at least gained 20mm hight and better grip. The car also feels less jerky on pull offs. I will see over the weekend how the fuel consumption has been affected.

Near future plans are tow bar with rear high lift jack points (not sure about a replacement bumber at the rear yet)

Under body protection with rock sliders

I would love a replacement bumper in front but worried about the airbags, might just do a nudge bar so i know when i'm touching the ground up front (Any suggetions)

And later a lift with shocks and muds (unless anyone can tell me how to gain hight without breaking the bank)
