Bamboo roof rack anyone?

No - it's not mine - I went to pick up my daughter from work and parked in the compound was a silver iO with a bamboo roof rack - quite neat in my opinion - it's fitted with lights on the four corners, amber facing forward, red to the back.

roof mounts?

How is it held to the roof - looks like it is screwed on via blocks of wood!

PS what is the sticker on the bonnet?

I really have no idea.

Here's a close up - the "feet" are blocks of wood, which are screwed to one another, but I have no idea how it attaches to the roof.  If you look closely you can see cup hooks screwed in to the bamboo, presumably to be used to tie things down, or maybe for a cargo net. 

I also have no idea about the sticker on the bonnet - I didn't see that until I looked at the pictures, and that one which was taken from the upper floor of the building was taken by my daughter.  I'll ask her if she knows

Here's the sticker

This is actually the driver's door - which didn't have a sticker when the first pictures were taken, the one on the bonnet is no longer there. 

Note the bamboo in the logo - the bamboo roof rack may be part of an "advertising theme"

sure looks very interesting,

sure looks very interesting, it will sure catch some attention. from the looks of it seems like the owner of the car is pushing an eco friendly solution of some sort i guess it is part of the advertising. it was surely effective cause it definitely caught your attention, would have been interested myself as well. this is a great way to actually promote eco friendly ways  or alternatives to car owners so that those who are willing to take that step may have options for themselves as well.
