I know there are numerous threads about tyres etc but i cant come to a conclusion in what wheels and tyre pakage to buy.

I am going to be buying the kyb shocks with the higher strut pan and putting the mazda springs on the back for the 25-30mm lift.
Can anyone tell me the best wheel size and tyre size? I like the look of wheels being wider than the wheel arches but id also like good offroad performance.

Online shop is showing 16 x 7 et36 wheels but obviously that is aimed at the standard ride height and suspension.

Any help greatfuly recieved.

Thanns

ok well no one seems to know sad

ive been readin this forum alot to try and work out what size wheels i can fit and what would work best. id like a wide stance something like pininokios pinin.

would these fit:

with 235 70 16 mt tyres?

will look to do the kyb strut change to gain 25mm lift

tyre size

What country are you in?

anything over a 225/75-16 and you'll notice a loss in power without retrofitting lower ratio diffs etc, and you'll need a +38 rim not the +48 standard offset to clear the KYB high-pan aussie struts with enough clearance for debris etc

you can offset wider and run 245/70-16s on 7" rims but very close - you'd want a +30 rim

i'd stick with a 225/75 on a 6.5" or the lower 235/70 on a 7"

I'm in the UK I was looking

I'm in the UK

I was looking at the lower offset as I like the idea of the wider track.
The tyre size I was just going off what other people on here have used and not mentioned about power loss issues.

I'd like to get into some offroading so obviously want to keep the power.
