Hi guys, my name is Chris. Long time lurker first time poster.

The iO is the first 4x4 I've owned so I've been learning lots from this forum and others, so a big thank you to all the knowledgeable folk on here, you've helped me lots.

Thought I'd throw up a few pictures of my little truck. It's a 1999 auto with a 4g94 in it. The bloke who owned it before me blew the 1.8 up so he decided to stick a rebuilt 2.0 in it.

Runs really well, the only issue I'm having is an overheating problem when the auto is being worked hard in 4L or 4H. The auto was serviced end of last year and the guy highly recommended installing a transmission cooler, but as it only ever heats up when I'm on a track and pushing it hard I've sort of put it on the back burner.

I've set it up mainly for camping/touring, but I've still got a little way to go to get it how I want it. Let me know your thoughts.

What you need to do is resize the pictures, upload them to imgur again, and then edit your posts to point to the resized pictures.

Hey. Nice setup you've got there.
Quick question: Do you have a second battery to power the fridge?

Yeah bwangila I do, I've got

Yeah bwangila I do, I've got a 120ah deep cycle that just sits in a battery box in the back. But obviously while I'm driving and the car is running I just have it plugged into the rear cig socket. Battery usually lasts 4-5 days while camping and that's running the fridge, led lights etc. Eventually I'll buy a solar panel so I can stay out for longer periods of time.

Nice. If you don't mind, could you take a photo of the battery and the battery box? I've been looking for a place to fit a second battery

Sure thing. You can see the side of it in post number 5, but I can take a clear photo of it in the morning if you like. There's really not much to it though. The battery box itself just has a circuit breaker, charge level & a cig socket & I just plug a cig socket extension in it that has 4 cig sockets in it.

What's that little box ...

What does the box hanging off the right rear corner of the roof rack do?

Just a lockable box I keep my spare key in foredom. Saves me the trouble of having my spare posted to me if I was to ever lose my first key while away from home. Box is very secure, and still inaccessible even if it was some how cut from the rack.

That's pretty neat.

The thought of losing my keys on a roadtrip gives me the heebie-jeebies - there's no-one at home to mail me a spare.
