The tyres fit like a glove no problem and no spacers used.

Removal of oil pan

The top rings broke for some reason on the two rear pistons, can someone tell me if the oil pan can be removed witout lifting the engine out.

I believe it can.

I'm not 100% sure (and my son has my car) but if I recall correctly there's nothing much below the pan to get in the way - I'll take a look later today and get back to you.

Oil pan

Thanks Fordem, I had a look at mine and it seems like the oil pan also bolt onto the gearbox and that last bit look to big to pass over the front diff.

Sorry - I don't think it can.

I just checked and the front cross member is under there - I must have thinking about the auto transmission pan when I replied earlier - that's what I was actually looking at over the weekend - deciding how best to remove that.
