Hi to all io owners,

 It has taken a while but I finally got around to posting some pics of my car 99-00 manual io 5 door.

Everything was standard when I bought it just over a year ago for $4100 and motor was rebuilt 'bout 150 thou ago..

I fitted the whispbar roofracks for surfboards and fishing rods etc.

Fitted HID headlight globes,

Wow , I can see.

I ripped out the extremely restrictive air intake box and fitted a pod filter and cover ( passed NSW rego ! )

Holy shit ,I have acceleration now :)

Just two weeks ago I finally installed the new KYB shocks ( cheers to BOBOZ for the ebay link ) on the front and left the old springs in and after ringing and ringing Tyrepro they finally hooked me up with a set of BFGoodrich A/T's for $35 a tyre fitted and balanced !! Yep , $150 for all four tyres . Pretty bloody good I reckon.

Not much tread on 'em but better than those crappy 215's..hey HeliJohn :)

I really want a bullbar as my next step but can't find one anywhere. Keep searching , I guess.

Now to hit South Ballina beach or Wardell quarry and see what carnage I can create >> Woohoo !!

Hey Nomad,

 

I am in Lismore and work in Ballina, we will have to meet up one dy. I travel the South Ballina beach every weekend (usually Sunday) and normally head to Evans for lunch then a trip around the Green and Blue Pools.
