Do Jeep wheels fit the iO?
I am looking at buying a set of 31 /15s that come with std steel wheels off a jeep, I know the stud pattern is right from this model of jeep, I just dont know if the 15s will clear the calipers?
I know Pininokio had to run spacers to get his procomp 16s to fit! so im a little concerned about the 15s.
Thanks mate! I thought that
Thanks mate! I thought that might be the case, I know Pininokio runs a 15mm spacer with his.
I just found someone selling a set with near new 31/10.5/15 Kumho MTs that will take $700.
Maybe I should have have just got some 10mm spacers, But I have ordered some 2" spacers from ebay USA at $175 delivered for a set of 4. So ill just use them and stick a set of 245/75/16 Kumho KL71s on my stock rims. Have found a place that will do a set of those tyres new for $840
Dude i think wheel spacers
Dude i think wheel spacers are illegal on aus roads, correct me if im wrong, i think i read it somewhere, u might be able to get an engineer to look at it?
Saying that im sure the chances of you getting pulled over for this reason is pretty slim....
They sure are, (I think) but
They sure are (I think) but so will be a few other things. Will swap to some wheels with the right offset after a while, but I will still need an engineers for it, I will get one for all my mods eventually. But I think ill get away with it until them. HEAPS of other people are!
ok guys have some proof that
ok guys have some proof that the 15" jeep steel rims does fit. plz bear in mind that i fitted the onces from the small jeep cherokee with the round lights. i have taken some pics but cant losd them on from my phone. will mail it to jaco and ask him to post them quickly
hmmmm, there ya go! Thanks
hmmmm, there ya go! Thanks for that!
Maybe I should have bought them, My spacers arrived today, I could sell them again, But i think id prefer 245/75/16 (9.8" wide) that the 31/10.5/15 (10.6" wide) anyway? plus there +12 offset I think? Id like around 0.
Jeep Wheels
Hi Glen
The 15" jeep steel wheels fit over the calipers on the ID of the rim but catches on the caliper between the rim flange and brakepad. You need to fit a spacer min 10mm for it to miss. We get a steel rim called trailbuster in SA that looks like pininokio's rims and I tried to fit them. Both the 15" and 16" catches on the bar that runs across the brakepad
