hey guys, been thrawling through the site and cant see anything about ecu re-flash..

I know that the mirage/lancer ecu can be reflashed and have done it to remove the immobilizer and change the timing a little.

anyone looked into it?

ecu

I have done some research localy, being in Canberra does put some serious limit on this! The only person I found willing to help ( an io is not taken very seriously by many) needed a "base map." that would have costed him around $1500 to obtain then around 3 to $400 for doing the work.....so I gave up. If you find something,  please let me know.

Happy io

I already have the basemap for the 4G93 SOHC MPI

have been able to do the following

- change rev limiter

- disable/enable the factory immobilizer code in the ecu

- timing

- AFR

- Load

- Injector

in saying all of the above, I've just mentioned what I remember, and it was around Christmas when I last tried it..

also I believe the 4G94 SOHC MPI  has built in Knock Sensor, which I think will also be beneficial if you wanted to slap on a turbo kit into the 4G93/94 engine.

If there's anyone local to Brisbane who wouldn't mind me having a read of their ecu as I have the openport 1.3u (datalogging) and 2.0 (for reflashing)

url to a video when I reflashed my 4G93's ecu...
