I have a 98 1.8 iO, same color as yours, for the most part I have thoroughly enjoyed owning it - finding parts has been challenging, and because I bought it as a "fixer upper" there's been quite a bit of searching.
Are they any good?
The answer depends on what you want to do with it - as a long distance tourer, it sucks, but for no other reason than it has limited cargo space. Off road they are limited by ground clearance, but that can be resolved with a little work, search the forum, there's lots of information and I'm sure, that you will, like most of us, become quite attached to your iO.
Shouldn't you ask that before you buy?
