Hey guys,

Getting a loud "gronk" noise you can feel in the floor from the front suspension when braking to a stop.
As the front dips you hear and feel the noise - not loud but noticable. definitly tied to up/down movement of front suspension but only when braking

I've bounced the front up and down out of the car and no noise, i've tried rolling back and braking to get noise but front doesn't lift enough.
I've looked underneath and cannot see anything loose or wear marks of movement (aside from sway bar in rubber bushes)

I thought my front lower arm pivot could be going but sound is coming from higher - i cannot see any part in the top of the strut that could be making it either.

Any ideas or past experience?

.

noise

I would try to disconnect the sway bar bushes to eliminate that (or remove completely the sway bar. The black io I bought was doing that when I pick it up. This is one bush that can be quiet when bouncing by hand.
