Call these people, this car used to belong to Singlecell, I think that it is a 1.6 litre.

You might try to find someone to weld it. Even if it is made of cast iron it can be welded...I have seen it done (I have to say that I have seen it to fail too) anyway it could be cheaper.

Thanks for that info. Contacted wrecker today not sure they will fit the 1.6 ltr as they are on the 1.8

Check Singlecell thread...it is a bit hard to exactly know what he have done but I think that the block is a 1.8 but the head might be the 1.6. The best to ask will be Singlecell....send him a pm, I am sure that he will help if he can.

this guy also had a RED SWB

this guy also had a RED SWB io about 4 months ago - had extractors for a 1.6

BUT they are about $400 brand new from wild cat
