Pajero io ralliart turbo problems

Hi good day to all. I have been battling for the last 6 months with an issue with my pajero io. My model is the ralliart 1800 gdi turbo charged gasoline model. The vehicle was parked for 2-3 years and honestly when I got it first thing fuel pump had to be changed. Since then been working to clean the motor has much as possible. Trying to find the correct spark plugs stuff like that. Then trouble began. The vehicle would cut out at will. Ac can;t turn on it will cut out. It wouldn;t idle too long or anything. I have changed tps sensor, fuel pressure sensor, egr valve, my model is fly by wire throttle so I took down throttle to check the magnets and stuff like that. Cleaned idle air valve, change fuel pump in tank, run fuel system treatments. I got a slight change when I took the filters from inside the high pressure pump. They were blocked. Both of them. So I took them out. Other issue I have the vehicle detonates alot.No matter what plug I have in. I also get a strong smell of gasoline when ever I come to a stop and gas milage is not that great. For the vehicle to idle I have to have the tps sensor turned up so it can idle and drive.Vehicle also doesn;t feel as strong or accelerates as good as when I first got it. When i first got it check light was on and it was egr valve all the time.It would idle but the check light would be on. Now no check lights at all but it is cutting out.

Can some one tell me where the ecu on the io is for if anything would just check through connectors and make sure everything is ok.

.

Does it only stall when the car is at idle? Myself and another are having this same problem, and i beleive it is my idle air control valve. I am about to order one today.

No mine is not GDI,  I am one of the "lucky" ones to have the 1.6L 4g18.  Have a look in the engine and driveline section, then idle problem.  There are some instructions how to reset the ecu which can help with idling.

Not having your engine  I cant really tell you where your IAC is.  And you might be the only one with a turbo engine here....

Am looking for aftermarket. You can get them from ebay for two hundred. But can only find them for the 1.8 & 2 litre. So i might be stuck with oem.
They sell one for a mitsubishi six cyclinder car which looks the same as mine. But i dont know if its worth a two hundred dollar risk.
