Please can someone give me instructions how to fold the back seats fla,t assuming that it's possible to lift the cushion ?

Not certain about the 2005 ...

but on the earlier models the seat cushion does not lift to fold the seats - you fold the headrest forward and then fold the seat back.

To be as flat as possible you also may need to remove the base (bum section)

On my iO ...

the rear seat squab (the piece you sit on) is not designed to be removed to fold the seat - it can easily be removed - for example if access is required to the fuel pump or filter.
