How doos fellow iO'ers,

I am planning ahead so I can export my iO to Spain in May.  To register the car in Spain they require a Certificate of Conformity which my car does not have (and would not pass anyway) as it is not a European market vehicle.  If a vehicle is being imported from outside the EU they require the "technical specification" (which to me means a data sheet normally provided with a new car or in a brochure showing wheel base, height, power, no. of seats, emissions, etc).  I have contacted Mitsubishi in Japan and they replied telling me I have to contact Mitsubishi in the country where the car was registered new.  I have just got off the phone to Mitsubishi Habtoor Motors in Dubai and they were not helpful.  After speaking to a couple of receptionists I was put through to the workshop where the chap used my VIN number on his system and he cannot find the information I need.  All he found was my vehicle and these numbers H18PA-LWB-D37  &  WVLWB 1.8 automatic.

Do any of you guys know where I might be able to get the technical specification or have any bright ideas who else I may be able to ask?

Cheers,

Guy

Brochures are usually available from the likes of ebay

Typically brochures are available on ebay, but I have no idea if those will be acceptable - if you go to epcdata.ru and enter the VIN number, it may prvide you with some amount of detail on the particular vehicle.
