Hello everyone,

Let me first state that I am not technically minded when it comes to cars.

I have been reading all of the post on the KYB & King Spring mix up.

I really need to upgrade my suspention and I was wondering if anyone has an opinion on this?

http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/MITSUBISHI-PAJERO-IO-3-1999-9-2003-30MM-LIFT-KYB-SHOCKS-KING-SPRINGS-KIT-/360730761240?pt=AU_Car_Parts_Accessories&hash=item53fd3a9818&_uhb=1

I have a 1999 LWB iO with the following strut MR455401.

Do you think it is a reasonable price?

Is it safe to use the longer spings with these shocks?

Will this lift the front and rear or is it better to use the Mazda springs in the rear?

Thanks in advance.

GO-R

I'll let the other guys (Claude) comment on suitability

mainly because they're more familiar with the King spring part numbers - but - I did notice the ebay ad says limited lifetime warranty - which I found interesting - no shock/strut manufacture offers such a warranty, these parts are wear items.

New suspension lift kit

Yes I think that it is a reasonable price.

Yes this complete set up is safe, ONE condition, check with them that the spring are as advertised the KMFS 900SP and not the KMFS 900. (I won't explain all again, but they are not the same spring)

Regarding the mazda spring, they are a touch softer than the kingspring but a bit firmer than the original. Not a big difference, but the kingspring might handle a bit more weight in the back of the car.

My personal opinion....I find the kingspring a bit firm, but it is a safe and easy way to lift your car, legal, I drove one car with the same set up, firm but nice.

If you go ahead, and dispose of the old spring....I will be very happy to have them.

Hope this helps

Happy io

Thank you for all of your

Thank you for all of your information.

I have emailed them asking that it is defiantly the SP.

I'll probably be ordering the full kit off eBay, as long as it is the correct spring.

Like normal, this forum is my saviour.

Thank you guys!

Im personally against lifting

Im personally against lifting the front with springs and eating into valuable droop. spacers on top of the strut will result in better off road performance.
