Hi,
I was hoping there was a way of lubricating splines on the input shafts WITHOUT removing the gearbox. I was thinking that the slave cylinder would give access and an aerosol with a straw could get close.
Pictures or diagrams also please!

Bad idea.

You don't want to be spraying any sort of lubricant into a clutch, think about it...

Spray

Yeah I know!
But I'm in no fit state to remove the gearbox and the car has no value to anyone except me.
I just thought people who had took out a gearbox might have a picture of what I'm up against.
I can live with a bit of clutch slip. Till it burns off.
I saw the works Audi drivers use coca cola on a UR quatro. It degreased the clutch till it got to a official service area! It can be degreased or cope with tiny bits of oil.
Stalling because of sticky splines can be cured easily if accurately shot at with a long straw. On an aerosol.
Only If I can get access without drilling or grinder cutting.
Maybe the starter motor removed?
