Engine Mount Trouble

Hey Guys, 

I have attempted to change my engine mounts last night and after alot of swearing I gave up. 

Downloaded the manual today, and it looks like I was trying to access an inaccesible bolt. 

 

In the picture attached  I can easily access the top bolts, however the lower bolts are near impossible to get a ratchet in there. The angle is messed up and I cant get any access into it. I can see the lower bolt but its in a cavity. Am i supposed to remove teh engine mount bracket, and is there a bracket on each side? I'm really not sure how to go about this.

engine mount

Mine have a different set up (4G94 engine) but the manual ( picture in your post) say that you have to remove the engine mount bracket.
