EXTRACTORS on a 1.8ltt

cant find any extractors to fit the 1.8lt but have found the wildcat ones for the 2.0lt and just wondering if they could still work on the 1.8lt

just realised that i should

just realised that i should of been searching for lancer ones as its the same motor (4g93) and i found pacemaker ones had the best read up, any info on them?

Probably won't fit - but take a look anyway.

Two things to be aware of ...

First - the Lancer is a transverse engined car - the header is basically a C shaped piece of pipe - with the flange at the top and turning to pass under the oil pan - the header tubes are essentially at right angles to the flange, wheras the iO has a longitudinally mounted engine so the tubes will run parallel to the flange.

Even if it does bolt-on - expect to have to do some custom pipe work.

Second - I have been told that there are different versions of the 4G93 engine - some of which have the ports on the opposite side of the head - it may not fit at all - have a look at this thread - http://www.pajerio.com/forum/piston-and-conrod-replacement
