hi all, how do i take the gear stick out of a 1.8 pajero io 5 speed , took of consel undo 6 screws then undo 6, 12mm bolts still would not move any body shed some light ????
I can confirm that it does have 6 bolt to hold it. What holding it in place is more than probably the dry sealant. Take a light, and have a look from under the car, at the rear right and top left of the cover you have an edge that you can tap upward with a blunt chisel (a flat screw driver may be used but could damaged the edge) or other. That should help to come out.
