Hi all,

As reported some time ago, i had to re-glue one of the magnets on the throttle buterfly valve shaft. Now the same thing happened again, when i was in the middle of the forest, on a hunting trip, with my son...Anyway, with some help from friends we found a good parking spot and i removed the throttle body and took it home for re-glueing, again. Just about to add the glue, i got too close to the loose magnet and it came flying right up to the shaft and broke in two pieces!!! Like a *** monty python scetch or something...

So now im´m stuck, having called to every junkyard in sweden and the ones on ebay in UK that i could find, and theres nothing out there for less than bizarre amounts of money (seems OEM is more than 1200€, not an option as the car is worth way less).

So, does anyone know where i could find a replacement magnet OR a throttle body Mikuni EAC60-005, Mitsubishi part no mn153347?

Does anyone know if its possible to change to other throttle bodies on the 4g94 engine?

Anyone has any other tips i havent thought about?

Best regards

Hello Ojak, did you have any

Hello Ojak,

did you have any success? I just bought my Pinin and I knew the problem was the throttle body. When we dismantled and cleaned it the magnets attracted each other and broke into pieces. I looks up many posts but didn't find a serial number I can order one. If you found out where you can order a new pair of them it would be great if you let me know.

Thank you very much!
Kev
