Hi guys.

So i dont own an io.......... yet. i will be getting one.

just have to save another grand to take out the loan.

i currently drive a 2003 outlander ls. So i will be looking forward to gettin the iO. need soemthing with low range, a propper 4x4.

im a cfa volunteer too so a 4x4 would be good in that respect as i will probly be heading out bush quite a bit.

anyways, i love that this is an iO specific forum, coz many of the 4wheelers ou there have little or no respect for the iO,

coz they are simply arogant and do not know what can be done. i like the attitude of the never say never iO owners and i respect and hope to become one of you.

im also pretty new to the 4x4 gme so i will require a bit of help from time to time, and just going through a few threads on this forum i think i can learn a hell of a lot from you guys.

so anyways enough ranting on. i hope to one day see you out there.

Cheers,

Daniel.

Hi Daniel, good to see more

Hi Daniel, good to see more people taking a liking to the iO and would be great if you could get your hands on one, ive had mine for a little over 6 months and am very happy with the performance on and off road.

Try and get a 2.0ltr if you can as the 1.8 lacks a bit of power but all in all a great little car!

yeah. the one im looking at

yeah. the one im looking at is a white ZR 3door, priced at $10990. gona see if i can get her down to $10000 $10500.

i wouldnt mind going for the QA but i have some constraints, or rather criteria to meet, in the form of my mum. im still only on my Psso mum says i have to have dual airbags, coz i still have to cart my sisters around every now a then...

anyways i spotted a maroon 2002 3door ZR yesterday going around ballarat, just made me all that more excited to get one. i hadnt seen one 'in the flesh' for a verry long tme, and i couldnt tell if it had a suspension lift, but it had some muddies on her. god she was nice. i was half tempted to follow it just for a look. but i thought it would be a bit strange lol...

anyways Glen where abouts in vic are you from. when i get my iO ill be sure to keep you posted and we could set out on a short trip or something. im sure ill be able to learn  bit from you aswell, coz i dont really come from much of a 4wd family, in fact ill be the first to have gone properly offroad...

We drove home from Adelaide through Ballarat on sunday night smiley. I live in the Eastern suburbs of Melbourne. but plan on doing a heap of 4x4 trips once I have finished my lift.
