Hi Guys,

I live near the gold coast in QLD, I've owned a 2002 ZR SWB 2.0L for about 3 years now whilst living in Adelaide and Hobart and love it!

only one real mod so far:

ARB rear air-locker (freaking amazing the amount of traction it adds!)

good to have found a group of people interested in the io!

Welcome Bob. Good to see you

Welcome Bob.

Good to see you here!

I envy you ZR owners! Might upgrade oneday IF I find the right one.
The 2ltr in the 3 door must feel nice! 1.8 in the 5door is not quite enough for me (hence the turbo plans)

Might have to pick your brain on the ARB locker setup too :)

Hey Bob, How did you go with

Hey Bob, How did you go with your rear sway bar setup?
Interested to know how they handle with it installed and if the front sway bars are even stiffer in models with the rear.
The handling is pretty balanced as is, any increase to the rear roll stiffness will result in more over steer, but if the front is stiffened up to keep that same balance with the rear when a rear is installed it would make it very nice on the street!

The other use I see for it is with extra weight in the rear ( I plan on installing some draws etc) A sway bar in the rear would help keep things balanced with that extra weight, ortho harder springs would no doubt be used to accommodate the extra weight making the rear sway bar unnecessary again?

Never ended up sourcing a

Never ended up sourcing a rear bar, one in europe but postage was AU$700
Part numbers for replacement through mitsu were only partially successful, the bar itself is discontinued

I was mainly looking to get the bar to remove the side to side wobble the SWB gets whilst on long corners over bumps

Pajerio are small but the power within the engine is tremendous. All it needs is some minor modification to the suspension, exhaust system and other cosmetic makeovers.
