How much mileage had your IO done? 260+ Km

Engine size? 2.0

Engin code? 4G94

Is it the original motor? No

Any major work done (Motor, transfer case, gear box ect)?

New engine from donor lancer before i bought it. Had 26000km on it in 2007

Guessing this donk has more than 150000km on it now too. Runs like clockwork and taken a hammering.

Dont know what happened to the original motor to be taken out.

Fuel filter changed when i got the car, along with all other filters that all looked very ordinary.

considering transmission service although works fine

its not the size, its the way u use it

346,809kms.... :)

As of today, ive covered 346,809kms :)

Few whines and moans now, but still running, strong. The 1.8 oes through a wee bit of oil too, but never mind...

Feeling a bit worn now, but not sure if ill ever get rid of it :)
Grown quite attached over the years :)

Just stuck a nee clutch in recently. Iridium plugs, coil packs, coolant done every 100,000. Oil every 10. Look after best i can, but not afraid to trear her ruff :)

whining

nice work -

i've got a bit of a whine now at just-off-power, sounds like rear diff but could also be transfer box - more like a dull "singing" peaking at around 65km/h. only comes on after 15mins driving once the oil warms up.

I'm also running hotter in my transfer as there is minimal clearance between gear and case resulting in throwing more oil around
