how to bring a video to the site?
Hi all, I am trying to find out a way to bring a video to the site, I have managed to open an account with "vimeo" and upload one video into it (yes I have copied the great one!) but haven't find how to bring it here:( Ktm, how did you do it? yours seem to be a great way of doing it...HELP...
I am sure that there is other site, or other way of doing it and I am open to... almost.... anything. And don't forget I have 2 left hand here:) I have to learn!
Thanks in advance.

Hi Claude.
Try this.
- Bring up and log into both vimeo and pajerio.
- On pajerio.com, bring up a repy to page.
- On vimeo select the vid you want by clicking the title.
- When it loads right click on the vid & in the drop down, select 'Embed video URL'.
- Copy this then bring up your pajerio reply page & paste.
Cant wait to see your vid.
Cheers.
This site will auto embed
This site will auto embed video, but I need to re order some things to make it work with "rich text enabled"
Just click the "Disable rich-text" (in pink) at the bottom left of the text window, then past the URL (www.vimeo.com/example) and it should work.
video
I will try...I am learning to make video with "adobe premier element" and I will make a short video to complete the one I put the site....I am taking different angle with the gopro...having fun as the same time...
It is good to see from the outside how the car is doing, like on mine, I can see that the rear spring are nearly fully compressed and new stiffer spring should help....

video quality?
After some headache and lots of hours on the computer I have managed to make a half decent 12 min video. No extreme 4wd but some very nice view from our country side.... Anyway I am having some problem with the choice of video quality to use to put it online to share here and other friends. I am using adobe premiere elements 9 and it does have an "easy" set up to download on utube. This I have done but I think that the video was too "heavy" (widescreen HD, it took nearly 2 hours to download!) and not very friendly to watch as you would need a capable computer to see it (it stop all the time!) . So after watching this tutorial https://vimeo.com/33320845 I tried, and while it does work well the quality of the video is way too low as I lost too much of the vibrant colour and it just miss the point! I have to keep trying different setting but it does take a lot of time, as premier elements needs to render the movie every time....
Any advices about the quality (or other) I should go ahead with and not loose too much of the nice colour? should I still put it on HD and bugger 80% of people who don't have very fast download!!? You can see that I still have 2 left hand on that one! (I am getting there...lol...)
All input welcome...

Video Quality
Hi Claude,
In addition to my comments in your build thread:
What format are you recording in?
I only use 720p 30FPS on my Gopro hero 2, as anything more sends my pc into a coronary...
I have a mac mini which I use just for video editing, and using iMovie I always export it at full resolution (720p), but I save it to my computer as opposed to uploading directly to youtube.
Once you upload it to youtube, which will take up to an hour per 2-3min of video in my experience, you no longer have to worry about it. When you watch a video on youtube it will automatically select the most appropriate resolution for the connection or device you are viewing it on. If you want to watch it in HD you just have to select it from the setting tab at the bottom of the video (and then wait a bit longer for it to buffer).
I would love to start doing some video in 1080, or maybe some 60fps slow motion stuff, but for the moment 720p is the best I've found.
Video Quality
100 Thanks... I have to say that I enjoy doing these video (when I don't pull my hair!) but it is not an area where I am the best at ( close to useless...lol...). Every time I go forward, the next step brings more headache!!! I have done a bit more "study" and what you mentioned regarding the format might be my problem (one of anyway!) On that day everything got done on 1080p30 (1920 x 1080p) the higher resolution of my gopro (by the way, what a nice camera to have) and while that video looks fantastic on my large screen TV, I think that while getting compress to go online it does loose its quality and loose most of its beauty:( , I still can send the dvd to my family!
I will try to use the lower setting (720p) to see what it looks like, on my TV and online, but the compression being more "gentle" it should help.
I will get there...eventually! Thanks for all the advices...

Not sure
I've never done it with vimeo, but does it allow you to copy an "embed link" for the video you uploaded?
If not, could you just paste a regular URL to the vimeo site of yours and we can watch it there?
Size is not important; it's how you use it that matters!
