I can't find out how to remove the stereo unit from my IO. It seems that the silver plate around it should be removed first, but it does not pop out, at least easily. Should I apply force? Any help appreciated.
Yes it does require a bit of force to pull it out. I usually hold on just below the air vents and give it a tug and it should come out.
