Dear All,

I am very much new here. I have a 2000 Pajero IO and as usual the remote key does not work. How ever I am in Sri Lanka and Programming a key or at least getting a new remote cost very much. So hoing to fix an external System. I just need to know where the signals from my external system should go. If anyone has direct pics it would be much easy.

Also I have read that there is the same thread but its very old and I do not know if they would reply. That is why I but new thread. Hope you guys have pics or some basic diagram on the central locking unit. Waiting for all your comments and support.

Regards

I strongly suggest ...

you tap into the existing door switch wiring - open the driver's side door and locate the wiring on the key switch - note the wire colors and then pull the driver's side kick panel and locate the wires there.

A few minutes with a meter will tell you if it's negative or positive pulsed, most are negative.

It's an input to the ETACS

Properly done it should not cause any issues as the ETACS will be designed to accept the signal.
