Hi Everyone, my wife got her 2001 2.0 Montero IO from Japan this week and it stole her heart right away. It seems that we've made the right choice considering the conditions of roads she has to travel on sometimes.
2 Questions though...
1. How often do you change the timing belt of the 4G94 DOHC engine?
2. Any chance of changing the information system to English??? ( We can't read chopstix! )
It seems like an amazing little car and hopefully we'll have a good experience with it.
Regards
Andri

Welcome

Hi! In resources you'll find the mechanical manual for your car but timing belts should be 100,000kms or 3 years

Info system no idea, manual might have info. We only have a clock here in australia
