So picked up a 2000 io 3dr, seems decent enough horrid steering shaking at 100kph plus so in for balancing and allignment checks tomorrow

Wondering what this is for, the little red light doesnt light up or anything

Some sort of aftermarket add-on

Welcome - my guess is it's an antenna of some sort - follow the wiring and see where it leads.

Really weird place for an antenna??

Work in progress on my just acquired ~~delapidated 2003 Vivo 11~~ Junior in need of TLC

Do it right, use Hammerite.

Why simpify when it is simpler to complicate.
