Good morning, a few days ago I had a clash with my pajero io

This caused the shock absorber and the steering column to be folded

After buying the damaged parts, I decide to replace them and I find that the suspension rod in the photo does not fit well with the suspension plate, as you can see in the photo.

When I change the suspension plate, I stumble that the bar that comes with the front of the car does not fit, it seems to be longer.
Any suggestions on how to install the bar?

Comparing one side to another gives me the impression that the front bar like the stabilizer bar have not bent.

I think you need to take a close look

The part shown in the third picture is the lower arm or lower control arm, the bar that you are trying to bolt to it in the fourth picture is the strut bar - I think you need to take a close look at that bar and at the front attachment point of that strut bar to make sure they are not bent - remove both strut bars from the vehicle and stack them one over the other and compare them that way.

front repair

Have you try to refit the old lower control arm to see if it fit ? and how much longer does it look to be out ? a few mm ? or more....

Also why did you replace the lower control arm, any visible damages ?

Happy io

Bar rectification

Hello, after following the advice to remove the two bars and compare, in effect the bar that received the accident is a little folded, lay of a restification I comment as I remain. By the way the stabilizer bar the pajero io is compatible with some other mitsubishi model
